Depth Of Field
I picked this image because I think that it demonstrates shallow depth of field, The soft, blurred background makes the color and detail of the pipe really pop. With a deeper depth of field, the small details would not be as noticeable.
This picture is a great example of shallow depth of field because the background is blurred, but Adrian is completely in focus. To edit this picture I used the Lightroom brush tool to smooth his skin and brighten his eyes to make them stand out.

Shallow depth of field makes this picture interesting. With a deeper depth of field this shot would look like any other boring railing. By focusing on one place and blurring everything else, I got a more interesting and unique image.
